Speaking of work.....Get to it!!
Text me and let me know what you find out. Sorry I wasn't much help, but sounds like it's likely dead anyways.

If you email [email protected] during business hours requesting one, it usually only takes a 5-10 minutes unless I am busy driving on the test track.

I have replied to all emails from the weekend, check your spam or junk folder, sometimes the email can end up there. If its not for some reason I can issue you a new one.

Spektrum part # SPM1600

The servos are known to be power hungry. What you must understand is that the BEC has to power the receiver, servo, personal transponder, external fan if equipped, and sensor system. The servo shouldn't be pulling that many amps anyhow.
I have exactly the same issue, receiver is browning out just by fast turning of the steering even with the car on a stand and no throttle. My set up is RX8 on 4S, Spektrum SR3500 receiver and Savox 1256 servo. I have also tried the same servo with an identical receiver but Orca Vritra ESC from my 410 and it is the same. Does/can a servo draw the same current with and without load? I take it that the receiver is like throttling the current somewhere and then causing the brownout? Will a glitch buster resolve this or would it be better to change radio?
Sorry for this being a bit off topic but the input to this thread seems to be better than most, and it seems that others are having the same problems.

Its a common issue with Savox servo's to cause brown outs, a glitch buster or voltage protector will fix the issue.

I had a problem with mine dropping out and not counting laps. I had a cap on mine and it did not improve the situation. I had to get a Castle BEC to fix mine. Airtronics receiver and a Savox 1257 are my gear.

Sounds like the BEC in the RX8 was the issue there.

I had the same issue when i ran a 1256 servo even with a cap. I ended up switching my servo to a 7955 and no more glitching.

Love it. Super fast and, IMO, seems to have enough torque for the buggy.

Are the brown out issues with Savox servos isolated to Spektrum receivers? I have to run a cap on my RS with a Savox and Spektrum. . I'm now switching to a Futaba radio and want a digital servo for my SCTE. I run a RX8/Pro 4 on 2s. I like the Savox bang for the buck but don't want to run any external caps. Would I be ok with RX8/Futaba and Savox servo? Thanks.

Default RX8 ESC

Hi, I bought a used Tekin RX8 ESC and motor T8(1900KV) motor. It ran good for 2 lap and quit. When I pull the throttle the led`s light up all the way accross and if I hold the throttle , all the led`s are flashing. When I turn the esc on there are no chimes, and I cant calibrate the esc with the radio or even reset the esc. I have a new airtronics receiver in the buggy and the servo works good, and a new battery fully charged. HELP
