I was thinking more about the fact that we'll be able to water more efficiently again. Also, Kenny brought an extra loop. That combined with the multi-zoned PA that FF has provided should make track transitions seamless. But then again, longer mains and more entries, I'd have to agree.

TRACK UPDATE
Thanks to Chance and Dale, the back side has been built up and partially shaped. FF is going to rip the infield and front side tomorrow to get the elevation changes prepared. Shouldn't be long now!!

How about dedicated nitro night and dedicated electric night? If it's already taking 2 hours per round of qualifying (x2) plus mains... Adding nitro on top of that we should see the sun come up by the time racing is done that would be a full 8 hr day.

one thing i do want to mention to kenny, kinda been waiting for the track to open up again. not to water a couple rounds before the 1/8th race starts, there were mult. times they watered before my race and 10- 15 min goes by before we even get to the track and its dry.
^^^^^^ EXACTLY!!

That does NOT work........... Alot of people race both To have sperate days would also mean that Kenny would have to come out there 2 more nights a week and thats NOT even a consideration. The only thing I know is I CANT WAIT FOR THE 1/8 TRACK TO BE DONE

i know the only reason i race electric is because i dont wanna sit forever waiting for my nitro race to come up. Fear Farm is very popular , its growing and we keep having 100+ entries every sat, that will grow once the 1/8th track is done. i personally would rather be out at the track till 4-5 am then start at 7 and be done by 9pm. Program might need adjusting but i know Kenny can handle it and make MOST of us happy

Hey guys, sorry I didn't post results for Thursday. I have them and as soon as Jessica gets home I'll have them posted for you.

Schedule: I've read your discussion about Nitro making the race day longer and I've honestly did a lot of thinking on this subject over the past couple months. IF..... Nitro really takes off and it potentially lengthens the program, I'll be going with a semi split program.

Here's what I'm thinking:

5:40: Electric Registration ends
6PM: Start of Electric Qualifying
7PM: Nitro Registration ends

After Round 1 of Electric Qualifying (Roughly 7:30), Nitro Round 1 of qualifying is held.

Round 2 of Electric Qualifying
Round 2 of Nitro Qualifying

Electric Mains
Nitro Mains

Following the above schedule would Reduce the time the Nitro Only crowd would be at the track and would also shorten the Electric program by about an hour or so.

Keep in mind this is only a theory right now and nothing I'm implementing. I'll work hard to run things quickly, even when the 1/8 track is up and running. We'll make adjustments from there.

Thanks to Dale, Chance, Dave, and Mark for helping with the layout yesterday. Tonight we should really make headway, so anyone that wants to lend a hand please come out. Even if you help some when not racing, that would be awesome!

Also a big thank you to Ken and Robert with Fear Farm! They were out on the track this morning ripping and dragging dirt with some good old fashioned John Deer tractors. I appreciate all your help guys!

Kenny

P.S. Text me if you're going to be late tonight. Late=5:31PM or later.

Sorry if I ruffled a few feathers, marshals being equal was not what some may have taken it, to clarify what I meant, and should have explained it then, was, there is a lot of new electric racers that have come out and race, some have not raced or have marshalled Nitro, this what I think is the issue, not because there not as good. Sorry if I pissed some peeps off, that was not my intention, now if Vareck said that, he would have intended that!
