they may have to redo area, cut from three tracks to two, with one stand inbetween two remaining tracks. cost to make three drivers stands meet ADA will be insane.

We are currently waiting on contractors to give us an estimate for a new (or redone) drivers stand. The other two stands are fine, just the 1/8 track stand needs attention.

Does the track offer EZ up and table rentals? I'm flying in from Minnesota for the 2018 Nitro challenge. Is there someone I can call and ask some questions. Thank you

I would contact Joey for The Dirt about that. Usually they have spots available for rent under a huge tent but that really isn’t the main concern right now. We are still waiting for the city to approve our plans to rebuild the drivers stand and rework the electrical system. The driver stand will be between 4-5 feet shorter than all prior years as the plan right now is to remove the shipping container from its trailer and place it directly on the ground/concrete slab. Sounds simple but it’s the city that’s making everything complicated. We just held our first club race yesterday since being closed and things seem to be taking shape.....slowly lol.

i overheard some of the drivers in Tucson talking about the 2018 DNC, along with some pre races they plan on attending in Elpaso TX hosted by Hal's Hobbies and another race Sun City RC also in TX?

maybe things have changed in dealing with inspectors, i would contact them thru FB or site and/or email in below post.

We are excited to announce that the official registration for the 19th annual Dirt Nitro Challenge is now open! With upgrades to the Fear Farm facility underway, we have been given the green light for the upcoming event! We will be limiting the number of 1/8th scale entries this year to ensure a reasonable nightly finish hour and guarantee quality advertised track time! Be sure to sign up online as the available entry spots will SELL OUT! It’s definitely a GO on DNC 2018! We’ve been club racing the past 2 weeks and the city is giving us a temporary go ahead because we have never had an incident or any accidents before. It’s taking far too long to get plans approved so this is as good as we can get. I hope to see a big crowd this year and if you have any questions contact me here or on Facebook. I can either help you or direct you to someone who can.
