All a learning experience though
Congrats, recognized your name from this site.

Anyone?

When will HB start getting back in stock and supporting the TCX. I love my car but am so frustrated with the availability or lack there of on parts. I am ready to sell it and get something else. I only get to drive once a week or so and to miss a week because of parts really sucks.

What kind of parts are you looking for? I have been able to find almost everything I have needed for the car.

A list of the few places I check and order from........

Horizon Hobbies
Tower Hobbies
Stormer Hobbies
Amain Hobbies
SpeedtechRC

For the normal parts, all these places have what I needed. From bulkheads, to arms, c-hubs, and now DCJ's

Stormers and SpeedTech have most of the parts you're looking for.

Here's are the spring sets you're looking for as well. There's only 2 in stock, if I were you, I would order them asap.

Here's another source.

Just ordered the springs. That's awesome thanks. I still need the following. I will check a few of these other sites but Amain and a few others have been out.

1 mm spacers
1.2 mm 3 hole pistons but I understand Tamiya has the same ones that fit and those are at Speedtech
1.5 pivot block
1.0 pivot block
73507 hub set

Thanks for the help

Default shock towers

what is the differences between the stock shock towers and the Spec r 2mm down shock towers? How is it so suppose to help in performance?

I want to know this too...from what I can think of is to get more ride height adjustment. In my case my local track is very bumpy,I need at least 6.5mm ride height to clear the bumps especially at the long straight. I m almost running out of thread on the shock tower trying to get that height, so maybe by using the 2mm lower shock tower, i will get some thread back.

Actually, it will change the piston position in the shock body. When the 2mm lower shock mounting holes were used, the piston position will be 2mm higher that will generate less pack in the shock. It frees up the car a lot.

Hope it helps.

You might run into droop problems if you are using 1.5mm under toe blocks. I think.... depending on your shock length

this may not be the correct spot, but the spec-r gear diff will fit all the versions of the cyclone...just found that out today

of course, you need some shims - but it will fit
