no,
for about the 100th time, tamiya, top etc driveshafts are not a direct fit, they either need the outdrive enlarging and the use of a blade, or the a blade to be heavily cut down.

Hello guys, I attended the second carpet indoor race with TCX, Sorex 36 tires in 17.5 SuperStock category, performance is much improved thanks to your advice and especially to those of Hiro, the car was very fun and easy to drive, with a lot of grip at the rear, I could easily hit the A-Main with the sixth place, but unfortunately I was ranked seventh for a bad result in a final, the other two I hit a fifth and a sixth.
Below I posted my setup, I think is an excellent starting point, makes the model it very easy to drive, then you can gradually move to set up Hara IIC will make the car faster but a bit more aggressive to drive.

Non-boosted 17.5
I ran non-boosted 17.5 for the first time FDR @3.8, 93/47. The problem I have in order to change pinions I had to remove the upper deck because of the pinion size and also to adjust gear mesh. I have ordered Xray spur gears with holes. Is there a better way of changing pinions?

Hey,
Does anyone know how much changing the ff and fr blocks from standard changes the front track width for example going to 1.5, 1.5, 2.0, 2.0, 2.5, 2.5? I know it widens it but i was wondering by how much?
any help appreciated!!

There are small notches in the bottom of the shock tower, just use 2 allen wrenches.

So I'm already starting to replace parts on my TCX and my cousin brought up why don't I just buy another TCX to set a side as spares coz eventually I'll have replace a lot of the parts any way even the bulkheads down to the servo mount especially with the way I drive. Fair enough so I'm planning to purchase another when the price drops but I haven't been in this hobby long enough to know how the value drops or the time it takes. Can someone chime in? Though I must also say that I do look after the car, I treat it like a shelf queen but for some weird reason the same can't be said when the wheels start to roll.
Thanks
