^ Nice job on the Ligier Mugen Honda body. I always liked that F1 body when it first came out, along with the Benetton Renault B195.

I want to do the opposite with Ferrari bodies now, having both Renault Williams FW18 & Benetton B195. These old F1 bodies NIB go for so much money now.

Just letting everyone know that Andy (alphacat) has had a setback on his eye surgery. His F1 race in Carbondale will have to be postponed to a later date after he gets back from the UK and has time to recover. Let's hope the Doc there read the owners manual.

I like it. For racing its all about your view of your car, I think you'd only lose that from sight in a snow storm.

Check to see what rules they are enforcing where you race before you buy.

For the F103:
Silver can motor for spec racing.
Standard servo with the tabs removed, any brand is fine.
Either battery type works well.
If racing TCS no, otherwise check out the Chevron or Tech racing body and wing sets.
30 wt. White spring.
Gold front springs.
soft damper grease.

For the RC Indycars Spitfire:
17.5 Brushless
Mini servo, tabs removed.
Yeah! 5000 Lipo
Tamiya C12 front and rear wings
Corally body.
11 lb side spring
17 lb center spring.
30 wt oil is center shock
30 wt oil in side micro shocks
(this car is not for the faint of heart on small track)

Tried new tires, BSR Pearl Whites on the rear and Blacks on the front as the shop didn't have Purples. What a difference! Nice rear grip and predictable steering without too much understeer/push.

Lets keep the open wheels rolling!

The current Tamiya cars are F103RM and F103 15th Anniversary Edition. If you want to get all the good stuff at once and never need to upgrade, get the 15th Anniversary Edition.
