Marcus,

I have your Mini-Z f1 parts... and well I like them alot, I am hoping to see these parts in action too.

I you need a tester I am in.
The winter is coming fast so my guess is that it will be next year..
So plenty of time to make the parts right.

I am going to link in your posts to the Swedish F1 cup site so that they are aware of the evolution of the F1. To make it easier, why not make a "Mantisworx F1" thread here on the forums?

I would also be interested in a working front end for the car, as you stated the one included in the kit well... it works sort of... It must be possible to make it alot better......

Keep it up!
/Johnny

Default renault R25

I've progressed with the Renault R25. A couple of error's but overall happy with the end result.
Will finish the cockpit and helmet at another time.

It would be tempting to cut the cockpit out for painting and then glue it back in.

Touring Cars
Mini's
Micro's
etc....
GEE and all those worked reasonably well or where developed extremely rapidly from the get go.... huh?? exactly what I was saying..... let's see....

2.4 GZ-- no hick-ups just worked, but expensive at first

Fm-- no hick-ups just worked, but expensive at first

Brushless-- When manufacturers started releasing car specific systems they had already eleminated almost all the problems air specific bushless systems had for car use...

ESC's-- The advancment has far beyond manual esc's from the get go....

Lipo-- a few hick-ups and severe misconcepts cause problems but where quickly dis-spelled

Nimh-- worked from the get go, just a different learning curve from ni-cd batts...

Spool Diffs-- umm what's not to work as intended?? not really an innovation, some guys tried locking their ball diffs and it worked as a tuning option, so companies released the spools..... but no real engineering there....

Ball Diffs-- Just worked as long as they where built properly, made the car more tunable and accelerated faster!!...

Belt Drive-- Agian no real innovation just natural progression from chain drive....

Shaft Drive-- WORKED FROM THE GET GO....

Touring Cars-- origionally based on proven technology from 4wd off-roaders or 4wd on-road (235mm) cars, just narrowed down and shortened to fit road car bodies...

Mini's-- agian based upon scaled down proven vehicles

Micro's-- Must I really repeat myself for a 3rd time???

Now, set down and think of a product that was brand new to replace a long standing known working product, spent a long time on the shelves before it was actually proven, and racers actually lived through the developements until it was gotten right without going back to the origional product... When your done and have nothing send me a PM with your address and I'll send you a money order to pay for you bottle of tylenol and if you actually can find something (which I seriously doubt you will) I'll send you a cookie too....
