Something that has been bugging me. Looking at Tessmans setup sheet for OC/RC there are two places that show toe in settings. The picture with 5mm on rf block and 2mm rr block, but then there is a box with rear toe in settings saying to use .5mm rf block and 2mm r/r block. Which is correct? And if the diagram is not for toe in settings what is the 5mm of washers for? Totally confused now that I typed it out.

It does seem that the rear outer ballcups on the camberlink have broken for several people (myself included). I wonder if there is anything that can be done to strengthen that area.
I just did the AE cap fix. I like that it's limiting droop. My car had way too much of it anyways. Was easy since I have 3 B5s. Just yanked them off one and put them on with the hardware that came with them. Not even going to bother with the aluminum caps when they come out. Just have to figure out this cryptic setup sheet.

It's a typo. Suppose to be .5mm not 5mm

I caught it during my initial build.

I was gonna say. I'll try it but I doubt I will have 3.5 degrees on rear toe. More like 3.5 degrees toe out.

I am in the process of building this car and was going to go ahead and order the b5 shock parts but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any special hardware to get as well or not, thanks

it seems like most of the kits and parts for that matter that are making it state side are just filling back / pre orders and so they never make it to the "in stock" status.

Will this work into things for the 1st Gen cars? If so do you know how? Like about how much it will run and how much of the car will change?

How are b5 shock caps limiting droop?

If the b5 caps are shorter, it makes overall shock length shorter, which means less droop.

Torrance would have all the specific's on it but I believe it was something along the lines of an aluminum bell crank which would be thinner then the stock part to free up some space for the motor and yes it would be for all current D413's.

With the help of Billy Fisher, we have determined that the B5 caps make the shock top 0.50mm shorter over stock. You can change this at the shaft length with no major effect. Also note that the standoffs for the b5 might be shorter then Required. I added an additional 1mm shim to compensate. As long as the cap has side to side play then it is good. Been running them for almost a month. Zero issues.

If the Ae caps lower the shock a bit, that will only help smooth the steering a little .

Just remember to unscrew the shock eye for the jumps.
