Second that. I am ordering the AE shock caps and was wondering what else I had to order with them to complete the upgrade. Thanks for the info. ..

Been running them for almost a month. Zero issues.
I think we are good with the AE parts (stand off and cap) (also referenced on first page of this thread for those wondering), but what else do you need to complete the change? With your 1mm shim, what size and length screw are you using and what nut? Anything else?

Anyone? Seems like quite a few have done this change but I missed anyone posting what size screw and nut you need. I unfortunately do not have spare screws around and would like to buy the right size once. All I know is that the AE parts are #91445 (Standoffs) and #91449 (Composite Caps).

Thanks

I know my question doesn't pertain to the car. But I can't find the correct thread. And since im building the d413 i figured id ask. So here goes.... Just got a trinity d4 6.5 and I'm trying to figure out where I should set the timing? I'm running on a small tight track small straights, lots of jumps, lots of traction. I've got a 20t pinion on it now. Any suggestions or links would be appreciated I'm coming from a nitro background so all this electric stuff is pretty new to me.
Thanks
Chris

I want to buy this buggy but would like a honest opinion from you guys that are running it before I pull the trigger. I know that it is hard to get and that part support isn't great right now but any other pros and cons would be great. Thanks.

I have had the buggy since release and I don't regret the purchase at all. Setting up the buggy has been easiest to do of all the buggies I have owned. Working on the car is easy as well. I wouldn't worry about parts. Tower has almost all parts in stock.

Judt buy it already! Lol jk the buggy is great across the board the only other buggy i would consider is the zx6...... And im keeping this one. Super strong, easy to drive, and consistant. As far as parts search weekly on the onoine retailers to see what if anything you may need and buy it. Ive got spare arms and spurs and have not needed either.
