So far so good
So for I've ran 2 practice nights and one race day.
Just got back from practice tonight. My car took 3 direct hits tonight.
Rear ended once by an 8th scale buggy. Thank God he wasn't in full throttle !
1 hit from the side by a SCT that jumped the pipe.
Rear ended again by a b44.2 that was haulin booty.
Oh yeah, and I ran into a SCT that was flipping out of control !
The D413 shook everything off and kept going ! Not a single broken part. Nothing has popped out of place. After 15 battery packs, the spur gear is still perfect. Mesh is still exactly the way I set it during the initial build. Still no need for fans on anything, and it's a stinkin BLAST to drive !
I'm definitely a D413 fan boy

For most tracks the arms with stock inserts are too stiff with all the screws in. That is why many glue them instead as it allows for more flex. If the arms wouldn't get full of dirt every run I would just run without them myself. The carbon upgrade inserts make the arms way too stiff for all but super high bite tracks.

I thought the best way to add more flex would be to remove one or two screws. Like the back, inner one for the front arm. My cover even went around the screw (and Jeremy suggested removing the screw all together). So if we remove it, it would allow more flex as nothing would hold it down in the first place.

I'm a little curious. Why would you want the front arms to flex? Wouldn't it be better to tune with shocks/suspension geometry rather than the amount of flex in the arm? I think that is the reason Associated factory team kits are all graphite. Lighter and less flex.

Anyone have any tips on an easy clean way to cut the bladders to go emulsion, that kinda sounds disgusting LOL. Before I slice or cut my fingers?
