I am assuming you are using f103 rubber? First....clean them with cleaner. I put motor spray on a towel and wipe them down. You will notice a brownish stuff coming off, that is the mold release agent. Then I use a scotch 220 sanding sponge....with the wheels on the car..hit the gas and touch the sponge to the tires lightly. you will see the tires "face" change fron shiny to mat sheen, they are ready to race on now and will hook up well. You can do the fronts too but I always just clean the fronts and sand the rears

motor spray works, but due to the chemicals that allow it to dry quick, it tends to dry out the rubber.I would recommend either simple green or lighter fluid. I have been using lighter fluid with good results. They also last longer if you keep them bagged in between races. After that i would run a good traction compound, paragon, jack the gripper, or niftech

No problem, I am buying enough stuff from him that I am starting to send him a list , because not everything they have is on the web shop. Once he confirms what he has he sends me an invoice through PayPal. Keep in mind that I have done 4 or 5 orders with him this year so he knows who I am. But he is cool to deal with, never had a problem

questions about rear diffusers....

Do they mount between the bulkheads and lower pod deck or do they mount below the lower pod deck under the car?

It actually is the lower pod deck on the F104.

I have the instructions for the Tamiya diffuser, and they show the diffuser sandwiched between the rear pod and the T-plate
I would think that most of them would work this way due to the countersunk holes on the T-plate

Are they the old A's or the B's?

Did you build them as instructed or "add stuffing" to the rear?

B's, and they were built as instructed. I'm gonna go put 'em on the Pro, scratch them, and hit it. Then I'm gonna sauce up the Pro kit foams, then compare... Obviously the track condition will aply!
