I think I read a while back in this thread a suggestion to use a thrust bearing and I think it was to replace something in the diff?
Was it this thrust bearing? http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ...yword=&pg_no=1
And was it used to replace the two "disk springs" BA20 or part #19805489
oR Maybe it was to replace a bearing in the diff- not sure?

from what I understand these are really Shimizu PS-0571 / PS-0572 just re branded with Tamiya on the side correct? I read / heard the Shimizu were so good the Tamiya guys got these made so they can be raced at Tamiya events. Can you confirm or deny this?

Basically, Yes.
other manufactures have made tires for tamiya in the past also so its not really new. Ride made the tamiya tires for the F201 back in the day. if i'm not mistaken.
Tamiya is a huge worldwide company. I'm sure they could ask any tire company to re badge their product and they gladly will.
F1 is not fun when the car doesn't work well because of crappy tires. With the resurgence of F1 lets just say tamiya knows how to keep the class running for new and old racers.
Pit 571/572's with TCS stamped on the sidewall. That's a +1 in my book all day long.
