I also have mine set with a round pack but have 2 new shortys i wanted to use but I figured now I'll use them in mini. This way I can get more weight on that car foward to meet 1300g.

mini z damper setups will tend to give u a good idea. That's what I have been referring to for tips

You can replace the center dampening disc on the Tamiya F104 kits with the F104X1 upper deck kit. It includes a side damper in the kit which is Tamiya #54331 (https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/optio...ll-damper-set/). You can find this kit cheaper online such as Amazon..

This kit comes with a separated/shorter upper deck, which would make removing shorty lipo packs easier. In the picture of my car a few posts above, I am using the longer version of the X1 upper deck Tamiya #54333
