Here's the F60 on Asphalt (I think) if this is any indicator of how the F104 performs on rubber tires... they will definitely be a strong contender
also.. being that it is at night... the track temps have to be low... on a hot track.. the performance should be even better

Will a standard LiPo pack [Venom, etc] fit in the F104 pro chassis?
My son and I are going to do some driveway racing this winter, and this year , we want to play the F-1 game.
Its between the F104 pro and the HPI Formula-10, I think we will go with Tamiya this time.
So, will a LiPo fit?

Lower capacity round cased LiPo's will fit and slide in and out.
HPI and F104 has been tried at our club, but we are all switching to the dominant F109 (once rear shock is adjusted to allow droop), which fits 5000 pack LiPo's with ease, it actually needs padding spacers or tape to hold the pack still.

I'm not totally convinced that is the actual Tamiya F60. The video was posted over a month ago. Maybe it's a just a paint job (it has the Marlboro barcode which Tamiya doesn't). Maybe not... Nevertheless I am looking forward to the rubber tyres.

Dude, there's no way that diffuser is a Tamiya part. I wanna see you try running that at the next TCS race!
The tech inspectors are gonna laugh you right out of the paddock. But hey, there's always that new F60, which I'm sure is 100% legal and will be waaaaay faster than your cute little privateer paint scheme. Yeah, you'll see.
j/p! Seriously cool paint job.
