On the Pit-shimizu website there does appear to be different wheels to the kit ones. Its only on the Japanese website not the english version

Started my build today.
Gone well so far....
Up to the stage where I need to fill the damper with oil and build it. So thought I'd call it a night (10:30pm here) and finish tomorrow.
I don't quite get the "friction" plate that the shock mounts to.
It's like a plastic/carbonfibre/grease sandwich.... So why is it needed?

i hate mine!!! it doesnt drive well for me.... i did the esc and receiver relocation closer to the servo, put a soft t bar, added saddle pack lipo, ceramic bearings, titanium screws... after all this the car gets no grip. i have no idea what to do.... i am about ready to pay some one to take this thing away!!!
