Do I do everything? chassis, upper deck, shock towers, battery bar

I do it all. Makes sure everything is sealed and not going to split. Besides, it give the car a nice finished look when it's done right.

Sand the edges down lighly, use thin CA and put a little on a Q-tip and run it accross the edge quickly. You don't want gobbs of CA all over the chassis.

Those are Losi and they have since been replaced by RPM. I like the fit of the RPM ones much better.

I use the RPM ones aswell they fit snug without binding and just about as tight as the grippa stock ends! They eliminate the slopp!

Thanks guys, that's what I wanted to hear... no more slop
For those using the Tamiya shocks, has anyone else switched to the black O-ring, over the clear ones? And do you also find that the "teflon?" washer that extends out of the botton of the shock, where the shaft slides through, tends to open up a bit. After a race day, the oil in the body is still fairly clean, but the shafts are"wet" and atract dirt. Just curious how often, or when you guys put in new seals and o-rings (the "kit" from Tamiya @ Speedtech is under 5 bucks). Thanks

The only time I've seen the seals at the bottom of the TRF shocks do that is when the shocks aren't perfectly upright (front to back, not angled side to side.) they tend to wear a little. But mine have been fine for 6 months now with no problems.

are you using the clear O-ring or the black one? I've got the black one in, and it seams to seal better.

I got the black ones but my shocks dont leak at all. Thats odd. I will usually get some tire dust on the bottom of the shafts but they are dry.
