I think it's because the seals on the bottom are slightly enlarged
(due to what Jon was refering to, the shock not being completely verticle) I have the kit I'll throw in tonight and compare seals. I know thats why the shafts have a light film on them. Thanks for the info...btw, I installed the BMI2 chassis last week, and it's SWEET much narrower than the stock one, and stiff

Hey by any chance does anyone have a spare Titanium Turnbuckle? I ordered some parts from florida yesterday but only ordered 3 sets, so now I don't have one for the steering. I emailed them this morning but my parts were already shipped.

ok i just bought the lowerd shock towers and tamiya shocks and i but them together like the little manuel said . ok and i put shocks with stock a-arm ballcups the greyish ones. but when you place the car on pit table its super high and the shock colars arent screwd down at all. is there any mod that you need to do with them or somthing .

you need to cut the ball cup neck to make it shorter.just did mine about 4 hours ago and it did the trick

I'd use the bottom ball and joint that is supplied with the TRF shocks.
