hi all,i have an orion r10 pro, similar to the hw,i seem to have a delay on the brakes and cant work out why or how to get rid, when braking for slow corners its ok but hit the brakes from high speed and there is this delay, its annoying as the brakes are kicking in just as i hit the apex and then locks the fronts so i run wide, its costing me time, any help would be appreciated

First re calabrate your throttle neutral/foward/brake... Try neutral range Low 95 and check inital break setting . I run 62.5% brake setting then set your dragbreak to 10% or higher, if low traction 10% is good if higher traction try a higher %... you just dont want the rear end to come around. So if its spinning out use a lower drag break setting. Do you have the program box??
yes tried all that and yes i have the programmer

I am currently using an Xtreme Stock ESC in a 1/10 2WD buggy, with a 13.5T SP MMM motor on 2S LiPo. I want to change over to a SP V3 8.5T motor, but will the Xtreme Stock be OK with this setup, as the 'official' specs say 'with 2S Lipo or 4-6 cells NiMH, 1/10 on-road>=8.5T, 1/10 off-road>=11.5T'.

I won't be running any boost or turbo, but should I be looking at using a 90A or 120A ESC with the 8.5T instead to be on the safe side? This is for track use only, but it will be used for 15 minute practice runs as well as 5 minute races.

The xtreme stock will work fine no problem.

Default XERUN 1S 120a V2.1

Its been awhile since i used/raced with my 1S 120A V2.1 Hobbywing ESC. I plugged it in last night and update the software to the currently support one. I believe it was V1.08_25405??? It was not the V1.11_3 b/c i saw on the side that that version was unsupported for the older ESCs.

My question is, is anyone running this 1S 120A V2.1 speedo in a 17.5 touring car for blinky? Also, i see it supports MOD as well 3.5T or higher, has anyone used this speedo for mod? I will be initially using the speedo with a reedy 17.5 but would possibly change it out for a 4T mod motor.

Thanks for any suggestions

My brother uses a v2.1 1s model in a 17.5 blinky sedan. Got no complaints at all. Switched from a Tekin RS Pro to it.

Hi,
I know at least two guys that use it since one and a half year in mod, with 6.5 to 4.5, without any problem.
Just watch the temp while trying different gearing and boost/turbo settings.

Just put in a V3.1 stock spec esc. The Hardware version is HOBBYWING_456_V2. The software version is V3.1_121129_Beta. The database version is 130516. Is this the newest software? It is the newest that comes up for me on on USB link V3.3.
