Thanks for the reply guys! Have gone for it and bought it off the guy - Can anyone recommend some settings for 17.5 blinky on the V3?

THanks

Hi guys

just to let you know the new v3.1 or v3.0 heatsink and fan assembly that has been tested will be a option part for the ones who are looking for more performance less temp

I have attached a photo which according to our test results gave us 30% more airflow ,fan 50% more thrust and 12% less temp .

So the firmware is the same between the v3.1 and the stock spec ESC right? Only difference is the motor turn limit?

My v3's fans are always breaking fins I've gone through so many this year, I do have the muchmore plate ontop (not sure if this is the issue) and I have mounted the fan with orings inbetween it and the speedy, this helped but they still always break fins ! Anyone with the same problem? Anyone have a fix?

Awesome Its good your acting on the issue!
Btw Angelo, I think it would be a good idea to release the next speedy coming (blue version) with the black fan, it looks way better than a clear fan

Default Setup required

Hey Guys,

Looking for help with a setup, running a HW xtreme stock with a Speed Passion 3.0 21.5t open boost and turbo.
Low traction track, long main straight 65metres with mixed infield.

So just looking for what FDR and esc setup if anyone can help?

Thanks

Gearing between 4 and 5 so start at 4.5 and tune depending on what the car is doing.
Boost 40
Turbo between 20 and 24 depending on how much endbell timing you run, again see what the car is doing and tune from there
Timing acc 300
Turbo delay 0.1
These are general settings that will point you in the right direction. Getting a really good 21.5 boosted setup takes allot of track time and testing!

Cool thanks, it's a new motor so haven't set the endbell yet.
What DRRS should I run and boost timing rpm?

Start the endbell in the middle setting i think with speed passions its good to run the lowest timing setting when running boost.. but not sure this is correct 100% of the time
Sorry i forgot those! Start rpm 3000 or 4000
DRRS level 9 (maximum setting)
