What is better for belts, urethane or rubber?

performance = rubber

durability & cheaper = urethane

Cleaning with Armour All liquids make my belts last 1 yr old at least.

Rubber belt is freeer ( less strain ).... that's it.

Also how can you tell if your belts are on the way out?

rubber lasts longer and runs better
urethane are cheap and break

teeth are missing, the belt itself has split into two, it looks really thin and the labels are worn off

urethane if kept on the tight side last forever, mine almost a year now and the side belt I use two tensioners when using the 24 pulley, almost a year on the belts, and i race regularly

The 25T worked great at my local track that is 180' x 90', but I have yet to try the 25T on the larger track that is 208' x 105'. I only used the 25T as some said you wouldn't have to run a 2mm split between the tires unlike the 24T. When using the split with the 24 a difference in performance was very noticable.

your a lucky guy coz nobody i know can make them last that long,i snap them front,side rear in 2 weeks.
