Been reading trough the tread and lots of good info. Any suggestion for traction rolling on black carpet. I’m running the large diameter TRF springs red upfront and black in the rear with 350cst oil sidewall glued to first tread but I still go on 2 wheels or roll over.

Run minimal droop (1-2mm) and glue the sidewalls of the rear tyres (but don't go too high at first as it will take away traction).

I currently run the swaybars but I’m running the thinner set. Once I get to the track this weekend I will definitely do some testing and see what works.

Hello I have a question as to what is Skid Angle Adjustment ? and what it does? for a Mid-motor RWD car like the M-08

Those parts add anti-aquat to the rear of the car, should add a little more initial traction on power

Another traction rolling question....

What upper shock position would help prevent this? A guy at my track suggested moving the top of the shock to the outward most hole. I was going to give this a shot next time I'm at the track. Anyone have any luck doing this or comments on how to prevent traction rolling? I'm only running the front sway bar. Was going to add the rear swaybar and 1-2mm of droop.

Shock angle is quite a small adjustment, more vertical is harder, but it is not as big a change as a step in spring rate. I don't think it would have a big impact on traction rolling but no harm in trying it.

Number 1 way of limiting traction roll is gluing the front sidewalls - always re-glue first if the traction roll comes back, because even if the tyres still look glued, it might have broken down enough to start generating grip again.

After doing all those things mentioned before I put my shocks in the inner most hole both front and rear and I stopped traction rolling.

Thatīs for me always a good countermeasure, especially on my M-Chassis. If you lay down the front shock more, you have less fear of sudden traction roll. Gluing the sidewalls is nevertheless a must on black carpet. Donīt forget to clean the tires after each run, especially the cyano edge, as the pick up creates a sticky film on the cyano again. So the cyano effect cannot work as it should.

2 weeks ago I entered the second race with my M08 R. Surprisingly to me my last setup from the big indoor track worked also really well in Bad Kissingen, which is a small ETS black carpet track. Temperature of the track was really cold, due to the fact itīs a non heated hall. I could finish 4th overall in the end starting from 4th place. A friend made a small video of the second A-main, maybe you like a little impression of the race. I changed front springs to a weaker one in front for this final, but regretted it already after run in. Car was more lazy in front with more roll and in consequence started to understeer more.
