I have both. M08 is by far superior. For super low traction, the M06 might be better.

I found this video of this m06 and I fall in love of the suspension absortion

Youre probably better off with an M06 vs and M08 for that purpose.. as the set up of an M06 is similar to a 2 WD buggy. You can also get the M05/M06 RA upright to give you more travel and greater ride height

Ive seen the video you linked in M06 thread. He is using a giro to assist with driving. Hard to tell what size dampers he is using, probably 60/65 mm.

Kit 47480, M08R

Flyer all in Japanese

Got my M08 R today from Preorder, very nice packaging guys! Its not a cartridge, but real plastics box like on some carrying bags. Seems quite durable. Will dig in the kit next days. The 20gr. exclusive weight is located in the middle before the battery. Quite interesting. Seems M08 is already quite balanced. Adding weight here will not do big changes I guess, just compensating the low weight Lipos of today.
Kind regards and happy waiting for all who ordered the kit, its worth the wait!

Got mine today from pre-order as well. What a pleasant little surprise after the shop had originally expected it end of April (and with all the Covid logistics delays, I actually expected May or even June...) Not sure when I will have the time to build it. But since R versions are usually limited production runs, I'm happy that I managed to get one, even though I don't need it quite yet. Plus I haven't yet ordered any of the blue Tamiya extra goodness that my cars just need to have. Or, more precisely, that my twisted, irrational mind needs them to have.

Yes, it sounded like it was quite a surprise for them as well in their email to me, but I won't complain.

Good luck Raman for your Vegas race again! In 3 weeks Ive got also a run for my M08. Will build some parts of my R version and throw the best bits together I guess.
And if I can manage it from timing, Ill finally paint my Karmann Ghia body for it.
Keep on racing,
Matthias

Hi Dirk, was also my first bet, that Tamico will be one of the first. Decided on Modellbau Seidel after their announce for preorder. Stated was 31.03.22, but it was nearly one month earlier. Very cool, that the german distributors became it so quickly.

Greets,
Matthias

I had looked at Modellbau Seidel as well, but I could not find it there back then (don't know if it wasn't listed yet or if I had just overlooked it), so I went with Tamico. All the blue goodness however, has now been ordered from Seidel. Everything, except 54786 (I am going to use the M-07 front suspension parts), which seems to be out of stock everywhere in Germany.

Show them the M08 could kick some M07 butt Raman. Is it true 702 raceway is closing or just a rumor?

I'll be at the Omaha TCS race. Still feel like the underdog with the M08, but I put in a lot of practice time on my car lately.

Rumour to my knowledge. This year I will have some serious competition though.. two of my buddies from CA are coming, and they are really good..

Is anyone able to get the 60D ride tires anymore, are they discontinued or just supply chained out?

They're still listed as part of the spec TCS list, but I can't seem to get them anywhere
