G4+ for me...

easier/cheaper for me to use G4+ on RS chassis rather than converting RS chassis to G4+...

so what your saying is get the G4+ and then get a RS chassis, as I know the G4+ comes with all the K upgrades which would cost a mint to upgrade on a
G4RS? any one else have suggestions?
cheers

G4+ -> Full option car(pretty) -> very hard feel -> good at high traction

G4RS -> Normal + slim car -> very much roll feel -> good at low/medium traction..

But i can setup G4RS go well in high traction..

i upgraded to the G4rs chassis and rear end bits only. i did this with what i had at the time, hence my G4+. i dont have anyother car to upgrade. this is why i did so. but if you have a G4S then you will have to get more than just the chassis and top brace. weight it all up, but i would recomend the complete G4RS kit if you have a std G4S.

I must say that there is some great information on this thread!! I plan on getting a new car in the next couple of months and I am really leading towards the RS. I was wondering what is the average weight or a new kit with no mods? Also what are some parts that others would recommend to stock up on?

Thanks Jason.

the weight of the G4RS im not sure on std kit form, i would imagine around the min weight 1725grams ready to race. parts , well i like to have gearing options available, so i would get a couiple of each spur and 1 of every pinion, work out the best option for your track then stock up on those. id keep arms and bulkheads and a couple of clutch shoes and a set of belts. really depends on how much you will be driving it, and if you have good parts support. i go over the top at times, i think i carry on me at all times 3 of every bulkhead, 5 each of my prefered spurs, and 4 of every arm. 3 clutchshoes, and many odds and ends. ill run my parts down till i have one left of most things then reorder them. it really is an easy car to work on, very well thaught out to get to most things easily. and it handles great also
