Guys using the b5 shock caps, are you using the cut shock diaphragm to seal it?

I tried and my caps leak. Going to try to run them with no Oring like the stock b5 setup.

Yes using cut bladder with no issues. Did you seat the bladder in the shock cap first?

Broke my first shock shaft this weekend. Got it wrong landing off a double and snapped it at the black line just above the threads. Found them on eBay and ordered them up. Finished my race day by drilling out the piston and using a b44 shock shaft. It was slightly longer but got me through the day.

your gonna really like them. I run with bladder and still able to bleed the air with screw. Works great.

Default chassis input

with 3 different chassis that you can use on the buggy, which are you guys liking the best and why?

I have the schelle on mine at the moment and cannot tell the different between this one and the stock one. I noticed a big difference between the Avid and the others.

You honestly don't feel a difference between the stock chassis and the Schelle? Are you running the CF Schelle chassis or the aluminum one?

I've posted previously more in depth about this, but I found the avid chassis to be terrible unless you are on very high grip. The stock one is much better in my opinion. More corner speed, grip, and acceleration with stock.

I've been running the the Schelle Carbon Stretch chassis since Feb. indoors and outdoor, and there's definitely a difference, especially indoor on tight tracks. With the Schelle chassis I can push the car even harder in and out of the turns and it seem to handle the rough sections a little better to. I also noticed on big double or triples that it flies better.

So Im thinking of giving this car another shot. I have a killer deal on a brand new car. Anyways are the alum shock caps any better then the stock. I know they are more durable but is there a difference with the handling of the car?

Chris, there is no difference with the handling of the car. it is more for reliability.
