Broke my first shock shaft this weekend. Got it wrong landing off a double and snapped it at the black line just above the threads. Found them on eBay and ordered them up. Finished my race day by drilling out the piston and using a b44 shock shaft. It was slightly longer but got me through the day.

with 3 different chassis that you can use on the buggy, which are you guys liking the best and why?
I have the schelle on mine at the moment and cannot tell the different between this one and the stock one. I noticed a big difference between the Avid and the others.

I've posted previously more in depth about this, but I found the avid chassis to be terrible unless you are on very high grip. The stock one is much better in my opinion. More corner speed, grip, and acceleration with stock.

I've been running the the Schelle Carbon Stretch chassis since Feb. indoors and outdoor, and there's definitely a difference, especially indoor on tight tracks. With the Schelle chassis I can push the car even harder in and out of the turns and it seem to handle the rough sections a little better to. I also noticed on big double or triples that it flies better.
