I hope it is bogus, which I'm sure it is. If those were actual prices from Yokomo it would mean they're having it going out of business sale and nobody wants that

That setup I posted I used on carpet with a 13.5 as well as our higher traction turf track (its more like a carpet). It may give you a good starting point to at least try.

petitrc also has a variety of YZ2T setups to start with, mine was based on that.

Haven't heard anything, I am hopeful that if they do continue on doing the truck that its an actual update with the new materials and parts and not a "TO 1.0" that is just the current YZ2T with some aluminum bits added, revising the a-arms to use the thicker hingepins the other vehicle use would be great.

I am looking for a YZ-2T to complete the Yokomo 10th scale set. I have a CAL3, DTM3 and a YZ-4 SF2. I can't find a truck used or new right now. I thought about buying the parts and a DTM3 as a donor and converting it. Unfortunately, the rear shock body is unobtanium in North America and I have only seen some in Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

As an option, you could see about doing the 13mm shocks from AE on the car. Testing out the buggy variants here on my CAL3.1 and getting them where I want.

I did consider that as well. The AE shocks are a bit pricey though.

No it uses its own truck chassis.

Cool thing from what i am reading and there is one up on the for sale section now, you can rig up associated a-arms it appears with a simple swap, and I think you go to the larger 3.5mm hingepin pills and hingepins on the rear.

Could then run with it and update to yz4sf2 hub carriers if you want for more tuning options.
zzztech and Nosnarb like this.

Another option is the 13mm Avid shock bodies for TLR G3 shocks. I think if you add up all of the parts it's as much if not more than the AE route. I Wish Avid would make 13mm bodies for yokomo shocks.
