I think a driver here was using the Protek 160T servo with some success.

Thanks. Been out awhile. Doesn't look like I missed much. I've always used a full size, in my trucks and wheelers

using AE springs due to the higher spring rates, however you will want to get the AE lower shock cups since the AE springs are pretty short.

It's been a while since we sold our YZ2Ts, but when the grip is up, try 1.4/1.1. I moved tge shocks behind the rear shock tower also on carpet because it was a handfull. 1.8 pistons in the rear were also a step forward for my son's truck, which was the one we kept longer.

What did moving the shocks do for by moving to the rear? More or less traction?

So got a another short session in with my yz2t on carpet. Using basically Shin's setup from petitrc but with a 17.5 motor as its what I had on hand. I also use the schelle slipper setup as that is what I prefer.

This setup with the tires I was using offers almost too much rotation for my liking. so i wonder a bit on taking some of that out before breaking a CVD axle. Second time that happened here as the pin that holds the bone to the axle came loose and jammed up things. The C-clip I am thinking is bad so I am going to try something else and some shrink wrap to help. This is using the 87mm bones.

Outside of that the truck is good. Just need to keep her together for actual races lol.

Still using mine every chance I can get. Drives great out of the box but there are some additional parts you will want for the truck.
