Sadly it came with a broken rear hub. Missing screws and other problems but I sorted it out. Quality is beautiful. First yokomo I've ever owned. I'm impressed. Also a very cool design

Curious to know what idler gear to use with the lc trans case. I have a cal 43 tooth idle gear. Would that be the one?

Yes. There are only 2 idlers:
Z2-503I - small idler for LD, standup, 4 gear laydown
Z2-503IC - large idler for 3 gear laydown, including LC

Hi everybody,

I'm buliding a YZ2-t right now and I came to a point where I stumbled.
When building the front c-hubs, the caster inserts "YZ-413" don't fit the pin "B2-009AF". The inserts have 3mm diameter and the pin only 2.5mm. The pin fits the arms nicely, so to me the caster inserts have a wrong diameter.
Therefore the c-hub is really loose, that can't be right.

Am I missing something or has anybody encountered the same problem?
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have received the wrong caster block set. The CAL3/DTM3 use a 3mm hinge pin, so the caster block set Z2-413DC has 3mm holes in the inserts. The truck still uses the earlier 2.5mm hinge pin and should have the caster block set from the CAL2/DTM/DTM2 with 2.5mm holes, Z2-413DM.

Thanks, I studied the manuals of all the different YZ vehicles and you're right. Still wondering how that could happen, it was a originally sealed box from a trustworthy seller. I contacted him about the issue.

I would go w/ the carbon battery hold-down like the one I have on my truck or at least the rubber band type hold-down if you haven't already did this.

for those still running the truck, this last setup from our outdoor turf (that is the grizzly grass stuff which is a bit higher bite) has worked pretty well as a starting point:

Anyone have any good suggestions on Servo's for the YZ2T? I've always used Savox, however I'm not any particular brand fanboy.

If it helps I run Futaba radios.

I'd say a standard size servo with spec similar to the Tekin T-250 would work well. I think Protak has a 155T that works well too

Looking at this yokomo-shop website this has to be a scam. These prices cannot be real or are they just liquidating?

Yokomo-shop.com, Buy cheap and hot online Yokomo YZ-2T 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit in Yokomo Sales Store

The URL from the yokomo website for their webshop is: shop.teamyokomo.com, so I'd guess that site is dodgy.

Looks like some place registered out of china back in 8-25-22, and it right away comes up with a secured virus by my virus scanning software.
