That chassis had to take him some time, but then again that's why he's the best at what he does. I hadn't seen that one, I guess the one I saw was more for SoCal, and the drivetrain wasn't sealed.

Randy, if you'll be able to do the chassis like the one above, keeping the sealed drive train, I'll throw some business your way. Let me know once you get it down.
I will be able to do that with the mill, but all of that seems to have been done with a dremel, so I would most likely be able to get much cleaner results.

Randman, it is right here on Rctech. Go to event coverage, and then the 2003 Roar carpet nats. Here is another variation of a Kinwald mill job.

I havent seen either one of those cars that he did, but with a nice mill, I should be able to improve upon both of those

What's the deal with the front shock tower on the second milled-out car pic? It looks like the camber-link ball is facing down (instead of straight back) ...

It is. That would be a more accurate way of adjusting roll center.

Yeah, something custom I'm sure Brian did on his own... Adjustable roll center...

I'd definately get cleaner results, once I get the mill set up, I'll post pics of the chassis'

Default Actually...

...The first car pictured is my car (note the stock motor)

Unfortunately... the only way to really use a mill to do up a chassis like mine or Brian's would be to have a very expensive mill (5 axis I believe) and a set of pretty elaborate fixtures to hold the chassis at various angles for each surface...

Has there been any update as to when and where the white ball cups on Kinwalds might be available?

Grinding down chassis is nothing new at socal. Most if not all Losi guys have done something. One person even milled out everything but left material to reveal a giant XXX on both sides. Pretty cool. Kinwald's got a garage full of machine equipment so I'm sure he does his own stuff. A lot of times you'll see guys with stock chassis with no milling or any work done to them...yet. But they're still fast regardless. Good job Steve on your milling. Did you do that on the plane trip over there hehe.
