Well.....I think it is true, $360 sounds reasonable, however, if you order from them now, there is NO GARANTEE they will ship it right to you, they might already sold all their first shipping and next shippment might be next year......so beware of that, ask them first.

And also....shipping cost, I've seen $45.99 shipping within lower 48 states before for a Serpent kit before.........somehow they have to make the money somewhere.

Ppl selling their 705 on ebay are having the same reason....710.

My friend just sold his with Nova Mega for $300......the release of 710 does not help, but because of the 710, lots of ppl would like to take a BIG CUT and sell the 705.

Just browse thru the I-manual while having lunch..........and realized that the shock's hole position are 4-6 holes now, instead of 1-4 holes.........is that something new on 710 or it was changed since 705 era (while they created the KEY shaft for the shocks)....thanks everyone.

Actually, that is not quite right.
The adjustable shocks have 2-3-4-5 hole positions.
It used to be 1-2-3-4 holes.

Step 3.5 The way I see it shows that the rear upper arm(by way of hinge pin) can be moved up/down ,inside/outside with the spacers they have and that the lower arm can be moved up/down Looking interesting more and more

The rear upper and lower inserts are used to fine-tune rear roll center setting.
The rear upper insert has 4 positions: TopOuter, TopInner, BottomOuter, BottomInner.
The rear lower insert has 2 positions: Top, Bottom.
By setting various combinations of the inserts, you can raise or lower your rear roll center.
When setting the rear upper inserts to an 'outer' position, you must shorten the upper arm length. This will give more camber change during body roll.

The DRS arm (dynamic rear steering) inner pivot point can be altered to match the rear lower insert setting, and will also have a range of adjustment as well.

At the front of the car, you adjust the front roll center setting by moving the upper arm mount up or down. This is done by putting shims under and above the arm mount.

710 gearing is almost identicl to the 705 1st is lower.. second is the same out of the box.. rear ratio is 1.89 on the 710 the 705 was 2.0 but most of us ran the 47/22/17 which gave us a 2.13 rear ratio the new lower 1st gear ratio of 3.53 over the old(15/49) ratio 3.26 brings 1st gear down to 5.42 compared to the 705 at 5.39 results 705 lower 1st gear.. with second gear being a wash on ratio 2.54 for both second gear is 4.67 for the 705 with low ratio 4.54 stock and 4.43 for the 710

what does that mean??

well the 710 out of the box has a lower( or faster accel) first gear than the 705 did with the lower ratio installed, and the 710 should have the same top end as the 705 without the lower ratio conversion.. if your motor does not bog to hard and slow down to fast.. the spread may be too much on lots of tracks, good chance you will be looking for lower second gears.. ubless the motors are pulling a few hundred more revs in there powerbands..... I will try and start with a lower second gear.. just a bit as first will be a welcomed blessing..

the new firat gear is like having a 14 tooth clutch bell on the 705.. for those who have found a way to do that you know how snappy that is..

please correct any math issues..
