what do the 1mm shims under the suspension blocks do?
I have 1mm all the way around the car. Should I take them off? what kind of difference can I expect? thanks.

Good deal. ALWAYS try simple adjustments first. Droop & springs changes are simple. Its hard to give a quick fix for these things simply because the rest of your set-up isn't known.

do you have 1mm shims under the blocks? kit is 0.5mm. Taking them off will lower the roll centre, giving more roll/grip. The most standard setup is 0/0.5mm front, 0.5/0.5mm rear. Anything less than 0.5mm under the rear blocks causes the rear end to be too stuck

Default 416x Lipo chassis.

Does anyone know when it goes on sale and who will be stocking it first? Very keen on one.

Hello,

back from the worlds. Without any practise on the track it was unable for me to feel competitive. But my car was still good (best laptime 12.7).

We used Diffoil#1000 from Kyosho (mine was from Tamiya).

Here is a pic of my car:

What effect does standing up the rear shocks have , or laying them down a bit, as in the hole on the rear shock tower.

It will depend on which motor and more importantly, which ESC you run, and how it is set up. Assuming it is a fully boosted ESC (Tekin, Castle, SP, etc), with the stock spur id start with a 34

Laying the shocks down will make the car transfer weight faster, more steering on entry, more on power traction. More upright shocks will be smoother on entry, and more steering on power.

Like I said, I would start with a 34, check temps, and go from there. 34 is probably on the conservative side, but caution is good when feeling equipment out I would try to keep temps under 180.
