Shorty lipos were illegal, but I guess Roar decided otherwise now, but in any case I still won't recommend them at all since they might not fit in other cars at all... Be smart, and remember the guys here are probably not using shorty lipos themselves, only 7400mah super packs... BERT is correct, end of discussion... Moving on.....I hope to be able to race these tc4 know it alls someday, and show them how it's done.....lol...

Anyway back on topic. Does anyone have any experience mounting tamiya bodies on a tc4? I really want one but having had tamiya cars I know the wheelbase can be kind of funky on them.

Does anyone have a good starting VCS2 bladder shock build setup for Club Racer for use in VTA on high grip carpet?

I use those shocks on mine my starting setup for those shocks is 3 hole pistons and 40wt oil. i drill a small vent hole in the plastic shock top and build them with zero rebound. for springs i would run blue up front and silver in the rear but that is for stock for vta you might want to run silver and green. or try yokomo pink and blue springs.

Post your source!

ROAR mandates what battery dimensions MUST be able to fit in a car. Which is currently the equivalent to a saddle pack 3x3 cells split in a saddle or next to each other, thus the square,or 6 cell stick pack. Any size pack that will fit in those dimensions can be submitted to ROAR for approval.

Stop spreading your BS.

Ok I hate to do it but Bert if you have an awsomatix car which is close to 1500 bucks to get running why the hell are you arguing about how great a tc4 is? I mean I love my tc4s but if I could swing that kind of cash my 17.5 tc4 would be collecting dust

Well gooba it's because I believe the tc4 can win against any car out there, even the Awesomatix, sometimes... The tc4 also gives me a cheap platform to experiment on, and have fun, while the Awesomatix is for Nationals, worlds racing ,etc...I own thirteen on road 1/10 scale cars, and would not sell any of them, ever, but the tc4 17.5t is where I spend most of my time, and I love discovering new ways to make it go faster... I am not always right, but that's part of research and development......
