Kits now include the V2 bevel gears, shock tower braces and v2 bulkheads. The latest production runs will also include the v2 outdrives for the diffs (noted by an extra machined groove where the o-ring sits).

Hello all,
Funny short story....
I went to the track on Saturday night to race off road 2wd buggy on Saturday night. I started watching the 4wd buggy quals and couldn't take my eye off how this one buggy on how it was handling the track. So I checked it out in the pit after the qual. It was the XB4 and what a well built machine Xray has once again produced. Let's just say the 2wd is 4-sale and I now own a new XB-4.

For the last few weeks I've been running my XB4 as 2wd, on super high grip astro she handles like a dream and I'm 1.5 seconds a lap quicker over 4wd

Malin will run her XB4 both in the 2WD and 4WD class this coming weekend.
Are you running Nathan's setup and weights ?
Got his under diff weights from his car at the Neo and will make the under LiPo weights myself today

All the updates have been included in kits from the last 2 shipments.

I'll bring it to the track and might test both while we're at it
We have the rear shock tower with the extra camber link locations so I'll
probably start with that setup.
Have you tried mounting the rear shock tower and shocks on the back and drilling new holes for the shocks in the a-arm ?
Have you been running with the front diff and prop shaft in place ?

I've looked at that as well through Oople.

Then play around with the diff oil. I didn't have 8k but when I used 7k it was too aggressive for the track I was racing at. I ended up using 5/3 and that's the sweet spot. My fellow xray driver said mine has to much much steering but he's switching over to the Bayer set up.. LOL (that's what your EPA is for...)
