The x has different bulkhead position int the back than the normal 416 and WE.It uses longer rear belt. You could use an X lower deck with a WE but you need the X's rear belt.
No need to change lower decks. The holes in the lower deck are the same for both chassis (only the cell slots change). You only need to change the rear bulkheads and rear belt to the X version to move the rear diff backwards.

The 416X chassis has the battery moved back 5mm from the WE, which is the position it was in on the original 416. It's also got holes for both the WE and X style bulkheads, so there's no need to change the chassis.

I am using Yokomo 48dp spurs & pinion, it's obviously sound louder. the material for the spur is much harder than the Tamiya spur. the same for the pinion. logically it's the material in use. but so far it goes well on my end.. only that i can maintain them much longer than the ori.....

just check which spur & pinion brand in use?

416x 1,2 finish. Had a lucky run against a really good photon driver.

5mm? That's a pretty large change.

Rather the other way, 5 mm forward on the WE was a pretty large change (the 416 and the 416X have the battery in the same position)

has anyone tried the 2 joints (Xray ECS style) front axles-swingshaft combination on the 416? there are some available from 3rd party manufacturers. i wanted to try but wondering if they are necessary and how significant will they improve the handling of the car.

so any reviews/opinions will be much appreciated.
thanks

When testing the anti roll bar's function, the right arm has more free play and feels softer compared to left side. I have checked and everything measured equally. How do I eliminate the play on one side of the arm?

Also, looking at Jilles tips video, he advised to use 0.75mm shim at the suspension block shafts. Where to get that 0.75mm shim/spacer?

Thanks!
