I know somebody is making these for the 416, but I can't remember who...
Atomic makes them, RCMushroom was selling them as well as RCSpeedzone (i think). Go back a couple of pages I did a little write up about them, short term they where great, long term a little disappointing.

Hello guys,

In the next few weeks I am going to be receiving my TRF416X.

I am evaluating electronics, going to use it for the stock class here at my club, and would like to have some opinion on servo type.

Also I would like to know if the standard car come with a spool or not and is there option blocks for the toe in adjustment.

The car comes with a spool and there are a ton of option blocks for the toe. But no option blocks are included with the kit.

That lipo chassis looks great. Any idea on price/availability?

Bad news for me, should have asked before buying it so I could bring it together with the car, but thanks anyway for the info.

The good news is that you will have a very good setup with the blocks coming with the kit...!

However, some extra blocks is in any case good, for setup changes as well as having spares... (good to have: 1C and 1D blocks for front and various blocks to change the rear width and toe in X, 1D, 1E, 1F....you may want to put in the new TA05 v2 split blocks for the rear front blocs - 1C and 1D size)

Hi all, just wondering if the trf415 one way would fit on the trf416? If so, what alterations would need to be done?

cheers

No the TRF415 one-way won't work with the TRF416.

As for it being for the old 416, they could pretty easily drill it like the X's chassis so it's compatible with all the cars.
According to TOP, the half recessed carbon bits make the chassis flex inconsistent. Something to consider

Have just joined it, need to get as much info as I can, as just me and a friend are going to be running the TRF on our club next year among 20 or more racers.

But I have seen his car on the track a TRF416WE and have to say that the car out of the box handles very well.

The Three Amigo's ... Not a great pic... But here ya go... Thats my 416 and X, and M-Technic's WE

I still need to wire the X properly. Methinks the 416 is gonna make an awesome RCGT car.

Are there any LiPO's that won't fit in the 416X?
