I'm about to start my build and haven't heard how people are using the 3 piece motor mount. The track I'll be running on is medium grip carpet.
Leave it off. I asked Marc the same thing at TITC and he said he never uses it

Default Gear Diff

I got the tamiya gear diff, but I'm sick of the platic bevel gears

Does anyone know some metal bevel which will fit inside the case?

I have look at Hpi's hellfire bevel gear they have a 20t/10t also might fit.
Anyone know?

What is wrong with the stock gears? We can take a look at it next time at the track, if you want?

What do you have to do to get the car to turn better in the corner?

Where you running? The Track?

There's a ton of us running Tamiyas. Stop over and we could look at it.

Is the setup from the IIC a good starting point for the 417X on a medium grip carpet track running blinky 17.5? It's really the only one I have been able to find for blinky carpet, but it's not for the X. If not, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
