[QUOTE=vw addict;9920332]You need an extra shim between one if not both sun gears in your diff.[/QUO
this is going to sound dumb but how do you shim

Hey guys- back in the hobby after many moons away. Used to know a lot, used to be good.
Starting out with an RTR SC10 RS- getting the truck sorted for a low-traction outdoor track. Already added a ball diff, a bunch of weight and ordered Losi 1 and 2 degree hub carriers.
Need more rear traction.

Reporting back after moving my battery back. Super decision. First, I taped it into position and tested. Liked the results so dremmelled the battery strap to allow the battery to move back. Shaved 1 second off my lap times. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Do any of you have any pics of how you moved the battery pac back? My pack seems to fit pretty snug in all directions in the stock form.

Odds are that you have one or more pieces of foam in the tray that hold the battery snug. Moving the foam, to the front or back allows you to put the battery where you need it.

Thanks for the help...One other thing I've seen online is the bleeder shock caps, but I can't seem to find any for the stock shocks. Is there one that fits the stock shocks, so I can bleed mine easier? Nevermind...just saw them on the site you linked to...thanks!
