look what i got in the mail today!!

i has some holes in it for what looks like a saddle mount kit, i dont want to drill extra holes in it so before i install it i have to come up with some sort of different hold down. where the holes are though the batts will have to go longitudinally. its is gorgeous, workmanship is A1! worth 100 bux. i will do some thorough testing with it next week.

I'm having some rear end binding which I think is being caused by the slipper. I just tore apart my diff and added 1 traxxas axle shim to one of the sun gears because I'm having the slippage/clicking problem discussed a few pages ago. Everything moves fine and smooth and fine until I put the slipper and spur on, meaning it's not the diff. Could you help me out? There's no screws screwed in to far or anything.
Thanks,
Dan

one of the reasons i didnt end up with a durango is because on top of the 400.00 kit you need another 100+ dollars in necessary upgrades right off the bat. in my opinion any truck you get needs upgrades to stay competitive. if you dont want the EXo chassis just add a bunch of weight around the sides!

I like the 4x4. I just wish I could drive it more. (not the 4x4's fault) lol
The Durango has it's long list of things to be done to race it also.
Right now some parts are hard to come by too. Temped many times by used ones to give it a try but the parts problem is keeping me back.

I'm running the rx8, I haven't had a chance to get it on the hotwire. All the tuning I've done was in pit tune mode, using the buttons on the esc. I'll probably be able to get some more brakes out of it.
I've made esc and motor changes lately, It's gonna take some time to get it set-up, I guess.

I wonder if the smooth breaking is a feature in the ESC that can be turned off.
