At this point I think I'd try changing the trans case.

It's worth a shot. But I have to say that the idler's blowing up are clean strips with whole teeth broken off into the Top Shaft. I'm not really sure it's an alignment thing from that evidence. But I will try anything. Thank you much.

the best way to find the sweet spot for the slipper is too start loose and give it some gas. if that is loose adjust and try till your truck slips for about two feet . then do a lap and the result should be as you come out of a corner the truck should sound very smooth and quite but have a sort of whistle sound

one way to fix the problem is to set ur truck up with a lot of steering and then use only about 60% on the duel rate and you'll be just fine (make sure you have ur left and right adjusted correct that is a major factor in any setup)

Got my GARO DISCS and I love them !!!! they work great the slipper finally works like it should . I just kept cranking the nut down until I liked the way it performed .It slips for a foot or so on carpet but it hooks up too its hard to explain other than just saying it WORKS!!! I can pull the front wheels coming out of a corner which I have never been able to do its like a whole new truck . Until i hit a tree root and tore up the front suspension . Thats another story though .. lol

On the topic of Gen Ace batteries, I picked up two last week, when I got them, one of them was totally dead, my wouldn't even register it, also didn't have a single volt in it. The other gen ace lipo worked great, no problems at all, I used it about 3-4 times on Saturday and it ran great. My main lipo is a team orion 6500mah 90c and that thing is a beast and I love it. Thinking that might be where I need to be at. Still waiting to see if Hobbypartz will replace that dead lipo for me.

Cjtamu says y'all suck LOL. It is Mrs. Cjtamu's bday Saturday and he will definitely NOT be going to the track with y'all. Itching to drive this thing again too, making a few setup changes after running a pack this weekend. Sym, my clicker was actually in the "on" (2mm) or whatever you want to call it position Saturday. I think locking it down and running a little less dampening is going to put the truck close, even before doing the pin mod.

Okay. I feel really dumb asking this.
My Spektrum 6030 JR spline Servo:
It 'will not' align. I am using the transmitter to send the server 20/25 points either direction to get the spline to line up for a vertical mount with the servo horn.
Setting the Transmitter at zero and trying to align the servo to a vertical servo horn is impossible. I have to send the servo so far one direction that it actually loses 'alot' of steering in whatever direction I compensated with. It's seriously sitting at Zero, and exactly 20 points either direction (on transmitter) will make it line up.
I've done hundreds of servo alignments. This servo is pissing. me. off.
anyone have a 6030? Till now i've just pretended I didn't have this problem. Now that my truck is drivable. I'm getting back into this.

Oh. Interesting. I saw the 99.99$ ones a while ago. 45C I think. hmmm. Thanks.

I didn't have a problem with max throw as for that servo I had to dial the endpoints down to 80% to prevent binding when steering reached the max throw.
Something else to look at, on mine the horn would get caught on the servo housing as well, but wan't an issue once the rack was connected as it didn't allow for that much throw anyway.

He used a 6040 and knew of the similarities between the Spektrum and Savox servos...
Since he used a Futaba arm on his Savox 1258, he figured it'd be a Futaba arm on the Spektrum servo too.
Always wondered why it was so tight on there

Symmetricon thinks your truck felt darn good with all things considered, and it should feel better once the clicker is locked down, and with lighter shock oils. It is crazy how drasticly different this truck can feel depending on the tuning.I had to +30 on the subtrim on my servo once it was assembled. I checked and rechecked, with the servo alignment tool. My endpoints are around 80L 80R, and my D/R is around 80 also. No harm no problem.
