When you run the pin mod does that effectively replace the slipper as in totally locking it down? If so, anyone having problems with the belt wearing faster or CVA's getting torqued, etc?

With the slipper pinned, and weight added up front Truck feels like it pulls now!

I also moved receiver box up front in the tray..
Nice, I ended up swapping the battery/electronics because most of my lipos didn't fit. But after adding some weight to it and using rc8 o-rings the trucks feels planted. The extra weight definitely helped keeping the power down. I use the same motor as you and was wondering what do you have it geared at and are you using any timing.

I ran it for about 4 minutes motor was @ 110 gearing 13/62. Going back to track tomorrow and do some full runs!

I noticed since i added the weight i can hear the belt slipping under breaking now but it is Hard braking..

I really like this truck but it does not have the Snap of the others. BUT after scaling it it feels even better.

If you take a sharpie pin and mark the slipper back plate and the spur (so you can reference them together) then go run it and check it after, they won't line up. You can tighten the adjustment up all the way, and it'll still slip.

I should of been more clear.

Good idea man. I will try it out. Also what is the size of the pin used.

I used a 3/32 hollow pin because I had it around, but you could use any random pin you have. A wheel pin would be okay.

Pinning the top shaft does not replace the slipper, it just keys the inside plate to the shaft.

For those that are running/making a chassis brace, what's the best location you've found to mount it?

Default Front Clicker Flange and Pulley LOCKING in place!

Hey guys, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out why The front Flange and Pulley would lock up to the front trans case! I tightened down the Clicker until it stopped clicking like in the video on AE's site. Pulled throttle and the car went about 30 feet and then the rear wheels wouldn't turn and the front was locked up solid. I couldn't move the belt when I opened the covers. Seems the front flange and pulley had gotten stuck to the trans case! pulled it apart, put it back together and it did it again after a very short burst of throttle. There is no binding anywhere else it the drivetrain. I made sure the screws in the trans case weren't hitting the flange too. This morning I ran the truck and I had no noise from the clicker when I rolled it like in the video. After the 25 minute run I did the same thing and now it was clicking! Im afraid to make the nut too tight so as to make it lock up the front trans again. Hope someone can give me some insight on this.

Thank you, MantisWorx, sorry I did not see your reply. I'll keep it normal then. Thanks again for all the testing and tuning you have done for us NEW owners of the SC10 4x4. Tomorrow will be the first time that I'll be trying the pinned shaft. Can't wait!!!

Also, I just picked up your saddle pack mount kit. Any tips or tricks to help out a "newbie"??
