cjhoward- Do you use a glitch buster, or cap in the receiver? I always run a cap in my receiver to keep just a little bit of juice for the receiver. That might help out.

Default Mac the knife contact info

Hey was wondering if anyone has some contact info they could PM me. I placed an order , but pay pal has my previous addres listed and I want to catch him before he ships to the old address. Afraid that my basket will end up in usps black hole

Call back and you will get a different response. Call back again and you will get a third different response. One of those three responses will likely give you the same information that you have found here. (25C battery might not be enough, especially if it is an older 25C battery that is only really giving you 15C performance)

It's the nature of tech support call centers. Some people that work there know what they have been taught....some people like to make stuff up...and some people actually USE the equipment and have run into the same problem that you have, and have found a resolution.

The fact anybody is blaming Novak for a problem that's obviously the battery is astounding to me, and a little sad.

Would if have been better if Novak told the user his battery was junk and he showed up here and complained about how the tech line was rude to him (although they correctly identified the problem)?

Don't run the bad battery! Problem solved!

KC, Did you ever finish that thing. I got mine ready to go but cant seem to find a place that isnt under water right now. Its been in the garage ready to race for a month. I got the Tekin RX8 with 4.5 SCX. She pulls wheelies in the street on the stock tires. And it runs at about 140, degrees, not MPH

Hey Jerm whats happening man. I havent had a chance to start on it yet lol. Been super busy at work with all the hurricane damaged vehicles. I want the tekin system but the wife says no lol. She said I already have way to much stuff. SO I need to find a esc motor combo for like 200. Wonder if roger has anything in stock? If so I may ride down and pick it up lol

Really? First off to ass u me the battery is junk based on a few posts on a forum with the limited information u have is a reach. U must be an expert in novak electronics. Secondly if u r able to make such a finalized conclusion based on said posts by all means we should be paying for such knowledge. Maybe u can't really know without further information. Maybe and this is big maybe tech guys aren't always right.

Oh by the way I didn't say the problem was there fault. And yes it would be better to say I need new batteries while im at the hobby shop talking to tech.

Think so? Didn’t you write this:

Yeah, your diagnosis is correct – you have a bad battery. But I don’t think the C rating has anything to do with it - your battery is junk.

IMO this isn’t a Novak problem. It’s a cjhoward78 problem.

You did infer that the tech guy was incompetent when you wrote this:

I think what you wrote is false – I’m certain they know exactly what their ESC needs to operate properly. I’m pretty sure you know it’s false too.

Do you? I never said that. I said you had a problem with one of your battery and not one with the other one based on your post and asked for opinions. I give you mine and you call me a:

Hey does anyone know if proline makes a beadlock wheel for the 4x4? Or will the ones
for the 2wd sc10 in the rear work on this truck? If anyone is using them, how are they
holding up?
