What parts are compatible between the RRR and R4?

For example; am i able to fit R4 bulkheads, arms etc to the RRR?

Hey lil Jason
Did the serpent 733 diff fit into the r4 bulkheads?
How did you you compensate the 40 tooth 733 diff gearing versus the STD r4 42 tooth
Cheers

The car in the foto above is not a 4r ... It's a modified RRR....i was also confused , but take a closer look to the pic to figure it out!

Still , 30 pages of thread and no answer from kyosho about the diff gears....we 'play' with rings and spacers to get this to work ...

Isn't easy for me to explain in english what you have to do but I try: you must reduce the tooth of the internal diameter of the top cover untill the two parts (diff crankcase and cover) fits exactly. After you have done so you will be able to assemble the diff with oil and gears.
This advice seems to hold the answer to the diff problems + add shim to outside cover to remove play from diff joint. At least I have had 5 days at the track without problems.

I used a xray belt instead, as its slightly smaller.

other than that, if the bearing size on the R4 diff are the same as the RRR, i don't see why it wouldn't fit?

on the RRR it just needed abit of dremeling.

I originally had a capricorn/xray diff in the rear.

that's why i talk about "play with shims and such stuff".....we have never made a discussion about the car set up , the roll centers , all the new stuff , this car has to try it out.....nothing...we only talk about how to get this car to end a race without a problem and we count how many times its of us have run the car withiut a diff problem...."the one has 2 races without a problem , the other one 3 , a frienf of the first guy 1 , ets...."...take a look at the RRR thread.....none made a complaint ever!!!....anyway we support Kyosho , we trust Kyosho and hope for better days in the future...there are almost some new kyosho hopups that overcomes some newbe problems...."hope ends last" we say , so hope!!!

Is anyone using RRR's rear diff on the R4 while the new parts aren't released?

Default R-4

Is anybody using a different fuel tank, or a different lid for the tank. The reason why I asked is the stock lid doesn't seal correctly. Please let me know.
