I haven't problem with the tank. It works right. It does not close tight but it seals perfect.
Anybody knows race results from shimo at Japan national championship with R4? Car is faster from rrr or we need a lot of optional and upgrades to make it go faster?

We begin with ....

VZW 403, 404, 405, 406........u.p to VZW 417. ....nothing else!

Anyway, the car will absolutely run better from rrr....but it needs time !

We will try some of the new optionals the weekend 24-25 of September.

Hope to have the steel diff gears before the 9th of october

....the car is not slow....but itcs not that fast either so as to make the difference...

I m sure that itcs a matter of set up....we will absolutely fond the way to victory again!

Greek Kyosho R4 owners are happy. (most of them )

We arrived almost every optional part for R4 till now. (Waiting aluminum diff gasket and steel gear)

If you want to check them with part numbers and images click here.
Practive pending in order to see what should we expect from them.

If you use vzw 409 on its upper hole position , this will decrease on throttle steering and will increase weght transfer to the front of the car and generally this will make the car more responsive but with less grip at the rear.....

Just finished building the diffs to go into my RRR, and to be honest any seasoned builder should have noticed the problem in building the rear diff, there is way too much play!!! I was noticing probably at least a full 1mm of play between the outdrive and case on the gear side of the diff, all I did was shimmed on the interior but also the exterior of the diff case so that the gears mesh with only a small amount of forward and aft play, to much one way and the gears will strip and then to much the other and the gears will become too tight and simply split, the proof will be in the pudding so we'll wait and see when I fire the beast up, the front diff looks the part in the RRR, just used some custom inserts to fit the original RRR bearings to the R4 Case.
Now does anyone have an oil thickness comparison between the RRR diffs and the R4 diffs.
