Does the old RRR engine support fit on the R4 as well?

Has anyone else had issues with the front bumper breaking? I broke my 3rd one yesterday. Seems very brittle. It's a shame as the old rrr bumper never broke.

I have broken one and i think the old heavy rrr wouldn't in that crash.
But still i like the R4 very much.
Very nice car to drive and maintain.
Had problem with 2 gear stripping until i glued the bearing in the holder.

Did somebody known is there an aluminum steering servo horn already???

The plastic one in the kit is really fragile. Ill try a straight one but I don't like the steering angle ,,, there is more steering to one side of the car than other.

I have used any 1/10 aluminum servo horn, just had to use the servo spacers to move servo closer to middle of car with longer screws so it misses top deck(only just) and have had no more breakages.

Default Thoughts and parts?

This might be a loaded question but how do all the 4R owners like their car and do you feel it is competitive with the NT-1 and the likes. I love Kyosho cars and I have run the RRR successfully for a couple of years, but the car is getting a little tired and I was looking for an upgrade. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Also, where is everyone getting their parts for the 4R in the states? I see A-Main has nothing and I have not run into any state side online shop carry anything.

It's 0,5mm higher so you can't use this engine mount. You must cut it 0,5mm to use it. If you try that you will see that the gap between gears will be very close. Gears works tight...

There is new One Piece Engine Mount for the R4. It is Kyosho No.VZW406. It seems hard to find but I think Banzai Hobby in Japan has it.

Congradualtions Kyosho for the win! It is good to see the R4 is having some success. It still seems odd that the new car does not share the popularity of the old RRR. Maybe it comes down to support, something Kyosho needs to improve for all their on-road products if you ask me (at least over in States).

Do you know if the new Mugen MTX 5 was raced at that event?
