Front is 7 x 19 x 6. Main is 14 x 25.4 x 6

The stock front bearings are SKF, so no need to upgrade.
Like Matt suggests, run seals on both sides if you can. They come from the factory only sealed on one side these days, but it's easy to slip a spare seal in before you install.

hey guys, I have a quick question for you. Can you tell me what the stock sleeve timing and crank induction timing are on the GX-II motors? Very interested in these.

Thats a very technical question Rodney that few or any of us would have the answer to, what ever it is Go Engines got it right.

Curacing, it is a technical question. But there are people out there modding these, so I hope to god they know what the numbers are before they start cutting.

So i adjust 1 hour on low speed needle, blip blip blip blip / WOT and engine dies... returning back to its setting 1 hour back, engine runs good. Why is that so?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Rex is 22Racer on here. He mods and repairs engines for a living.

I suspect the way you have your engine tuned, you are going too far in on the bottom end. Do you lean or richen the bottom end when it dies ?

The GXII (like the GX and it's predecessors) has a long tapered low speed needle. This tapered needle sits well inside the receiver jet. If you set it too far in, you can actually completely block off the receiver jet with the taper.
Craig (curacing2) our GO team driver here posted some info on this a few pages back somewhere too.

Race tune generally on the GXII will see the bottom needle screw flush or maybe 1/2 a turn in from flush with the cap. High speed needle the same.
I suggest you go back to flush on both needles, set the idle gap to .7 mm max, and tune from there.
The GXII has mega bottom end, so you shouldn't have a problem getting the performance you want.

thanks shane, rider.. yeah i've seen 22racer here. Yes shane i have leaned the bottom, engine dies; richen up and it engine ok. From what you've describe. Will restore back to flush settings and start from there, and also the .7mm idle gap.

many thanks....

I think that might be the problem. To give it more bottom you would normally richen the bottom a little.

Will a GX-5R venturi work correctly in a MG-66?
