stock settings. I have had no problems for a few weeks. Was really pleased with the ESC until tonight. I encountered this problem before the first heat. Got it to connect and run, after six tries to recalibrate (it was giving me the search for neutral green, reset dead band to middle, no dice)..... everything was fine except absolutely no brakes..drag brake yes, push brake no. Tried turning up the radio EPA, brake strength. I ended up running the main with 45% drag brake, not so cool. I'll check the website

Ran my hyper10sc with the full viper setup this weekend. and I have to say WOW!!
I think my gearing is off though. the esc temped at 165 and motor at 140 most of the day. BUT, I didnt drive it too hard as I wasnt pushing it since I was hanging out in front through the quals. In the main the pipes kept moving and getting in my way for some reason

so I had to push from 3rd to get back to first I ran down second and took it but the truck shut down, no throttle but I had steering. no lights flashing on the esc and temps were 196 esc 160 motor. I turned it off and it wouldnt turn back on.
So I marshalled and ran my nitro classes. came back and it turns on and seems fine. I assume I hit thermal protection?
the motor is a viper 550 4.5 with a 14 tooth pinion. Im thinking it needs a 12-13?

Orange and red Leds should have been both lit up on the switch they wont blink they just glow

and yes you need to gear a 4.5 in the hyper 12-13t. 14 if your on an 1/8 size track with a decent straight!
Remove the Motor cut off as is yourr motor at 160 or below is just fine 110-140 is where i tend to keep mien.
The esc shut off on you for sure 196 is a bit HOT! really i suggest a 5.5. i dont get why people need to run the 4.5 a timined 5.5 is just as fast and a little easier on the esc/drivetrain/batteries.
