You don't expect some people to be shocked that an 1/8 motor is 2 pole instead of 4? Even Novak's new 8L is 4 pole.
I must've missed the part where it said," 2 pole."

Why 2 pole for an 1/8 scale application?

I have been running the VSE Proto 2 pole motors for about 3 months now. No problems, and I can keep up with any other brand out there... No need for 4 poles!

I don't want to buy a new 1/8 motor just to be able to, "keep up," I want to be able to pass them like they are standing still.

No offense guys but of course you got nothing but good things to say about your prototype esc's and motors, that's what team drivers with free stuff do in a public forum. Just like how we read for months how awesome and reliable the proto VTX's are. You need to build up the anticipation and get people to buy the gear. We'll see how these motors live up to the hype when us regular folks field test these motors out for you.

Just my $0.02

Pretty sure My results at a few big races and Weylins results speak for themselves...

BUT, thats all fine and dandy. I am one of the least biased team drivers. I love Tekin, and have never said a bad thing about the product, minus the crappy switches. I keep some Tekin stuff as backups. I am and will never be like- Tekin sucks, Viper rules.

Both products are very good, and are very competitive. You will NEVER find a product that is 100% better than its competitor. Everything has its up's and downs. I am pretty sure I have pointed out flaws in OPEN forums about some of our products. I am not out to hide anything.

4 pole has no advantage when it comes to how much power it produces.

For going to our VST 13.5 in that truck I would drop 3 teeth on the pinion to start and change your acceleration boost rpm range to 5500-15,500rpm
EXACTLY what I was looking for, Weylin. Many thanks!

Us team guys are still testing the e-8th motors. My buggy motor has been good so far but we are still changing/testing things. Here is a video of my caster e-buggy with a RX8 and Viper 2050kv motor. After each heat and the main the motor was 130ish. Very smooth power and i will never go back to the castle stuff i was running. Castle is great stuff but no where as smooth as my RX8/Viper. 2 pole/4 pole not sure what the difference is.

Wow, did you come up with that all by yourself? Nice pep talk buddy. You make me . Maybe you need to read what I said a couple times. i did not once say that a motor is what get you wins. I want a motor that's fast power-wise, no one buys a motor to be powerful enough just to keep up. Do all the fast guys buy a 17.5 when a 6.5 is available?

Moving on.....
