Thats funny" My Losi SCTE would turn under my buddies SC10 4x4 at
our races last night" I think the guy who knows the most about setting up
an R/C car will have a better handling car/truck.I don't think it has much
to do with brand at all my friend..

Their both great products thats why I bought both of them...

For those wanting to tame down the steering a bit, on my OCRC no swaybars setup, I backed out the steering stop screws about 1.5 turns and re-set my EPA. I used the width of an x-acto to set the spacing between the screw head and the caster block. This is much smoother and still does the tight turns with ease.

Also for tires, a bow-tie SC or other large block front tire will make the truck push if that's what you want.

For those running 540 motors and wanting to lower temps, try getting a larger diameter rotor if the manufacturer makes one. For example, LRP x-12 motors come with a 12.5 mm rotor but the is an option 13 mm rotor.

There is so much adjustability on these it could go either way. I was driving extremely conservatively and did not set any speed records or even fast laps... but was really happy how controllable it was in the slow sections and in traffic and I just didn't get tangled up. Off to a good start though! Wish it was easier to work on, but I'll learn.

Finished mine up last night and took it to a local indoor carpet track. I'm overal impressed with this truck. It went together very easily, and drives great on the track. Still got some tuning to do, but thats normal. Only minor issue I had was after the first pack the belt stretched slightly and started slipping. I thought it was the clicker at first, but soon realized it was a stretched belt. I tightened to tensioner up a hole or two and it was fixed. Here's a pic of my setup....

I'm guessing that goes in place of the esc tray in the center off the chassis.

If you decide to servo tape your ESC directly to the chassis instead of using the 91152 ESC tray, the option battery wall will be needed.
