Both my diff cases had one screw stripped out. Chris sent two new ones out right away. AE has great customer service.

I just installed the belt (pg. 27) and went to check for free rotation. The belt when held and pulled towards the front clicker is just locked tight. If the belt is pulled towards the rear of the truck I get the clicker sound. I don't feel this is correct.
Could someone let me know if this is correct and if not, what I might have done incorrectly. I didn't over tighten the diff cases, made sure they weren't binding.
I went back over then manual and only thing that I can think of to cause this might be I installed the diffs with the screws facing inwards. I worked on this late into the morning when I wasn't the most awake and aware (not a good idea).
Thanks in advance.

On the AKA wheels all you have to do is poke them with an awl or dental pick to open them up.

Has any tried running the Tekin RS with the Castle Creations 1410 1y ? I have this esc left from my onroad car and wanted to use it instead of the Sidewinder SCT esc.
Any reply would be appreciated,

On a "For What It's Worth" note.
My truck as run from last nights test, with light dirt and mud on the body scaled in a 6.00 lbs. Only deviation from race set up would be the lack of a transponder.

Ok I need some help understanding this truck from a basher's perspective. Cause AE have refered to it as a bashable truck several times at least in there vids.
No sway bars included.
550 motor fitment may require modding but then motor selection may be limited.
Belt needs broke in and is it true that the belt cover is open on the bottom? I assume that is a debri catcher. And arent you gonna just feed debris into the pulleys and wont rocks just eat the belt?
Lipo tray is limited. That is just a fact.
Servo access. My god You have to bury that thing deep in the bowls of the SC44!
Back to the belt... I'd think you'd have tons of parasitic loss due to the belt. And unpreditable performance. I mean new belt may cause stress and over heating... And a old belt well god knows what that will do.
Am I wrong on these points? Don't getme wrong. Looks cool but looks like a novelty. Seems to me it'll be more maintanance and cleaning than reliable performance.

So I ran my truck last nite with central coaster, and we both made amain but coaster was a bump from bmain to amain winner, the truck is stout and very easy to drive, the losis had to pretty much slow down alot to get the corners unlike the sc10 which you can turn at any speeds

the belt is fully enclosed, the way the cover is designed I doubt you will get anything more than a fine dust in there, if anything.
the belt is a very efficient way of transmitting the power.
