I don't see why it would need to go in as one piece. If that's the case, are you saying you're not able to remove the motor without removing the mount?

Also, if I were to do it that way, I'd just put a screw through the chassis and hold it in place with a wrench. Then slip the diff mount spacer on (if you decided to use it) then screw it into the mount a few turns. Then repeat for the other 3 screws. Doesn't seem like there's a need for Shoe Goo.
It will have to come out in one piece, I remember when I was installing it I didn't have enough distance on the Grid plate when you roll it into or out of the Grid mount, with out the motor wires getting pinned one way or the other.

Here's a few pics, Last one of the Skagit Valley in April I will get better detail later.

I vote a new thread - 1st post... right there in everyone's face. If it continues on past that its a simple "refer to page 1".

And use the link in here as well.

it's too bad you couldn't have admin privilages to only had information into it and restrict people from talking in that thread, but it is what it is

Awesome video. I never thought about building diffs like that. I've always left the gear on the outdrive. I'll give that a try next time I rebuild the diffs.

Why do you have the motor turned that way?? No wonder you're having issues. I'd mount it so that the wires are around the 10~11 o'clock position (as you're looking from the rear of car).

This is mine when I had the MMM setup:

No problems R&R'ing the motor and leaving the mount in the car.

F**k! Do all of you have to quote Manshoon's (or anyone elses posts for that sake) post with pictures? So freaking annoying to scroll through it.
