It would jump better if you positioned your wing right

The gap between the front edge of the wing and the rear shock tower should be about 28mm. move the wing where the rear holes on the wing are screwed to the front 2 holes of the wing mount. Use only 2 screws

There is even a mod people are using now with a much shorter wing mount and supposed to be tons better too.

Not really. I highly recommend everyone reading the nitro rc8b forum. You will find the majority of tuning tips there.

I would also want to ask how long you've been driving it on a track. I think the driver makes up most of the performance.

I know the shocks hold more oil, not sure if the trans and diffs are different or not, and the shock towers may also have different geometry.

I hope someone else can help you more
I have the team associated conversion with the mmm 2200 kv combo.
I have never ran 1/8 buggy before this year planned to before just never had the time. I have always ran 1/10 buggy and 4x4 sct.

I got the rc8 maybe a year and half ago with full intentions to get into 1/8 buggy but didnt get to. I just wonder if i am going to be at a total disadvantage with it compared to the newer kits out now. Thanks for the reply any info is better than none.

Hmm, probably the wrong place for the RS. Most run MMM or RX8s.

Here is a video from Tekin on wiring the RX8.

Otherwise you might want to try a 1/10 scale thread.
